We bought a Jashen V16 as a "household" Christmas gift. The reviews were good and the price was very competitive. When we unpacked it we were a little concerned about the very plastic unit. It seemed unsubstantial and, to be honest, we are not sure yet about long term durability. But we forged ahead. So far, after 3 weeks, it is working like a champ! Battery life on medium (the recommended setting) is decent - lasting a good 35-45 minutes. On high only expect 10-15 minutes. At least there is a nice visual display to let you know where you stand. It does a great job on carpets, floors and talk about handy for furniture! We have 2 cats and it handles fur as well as anything we've tried. It is honestly replacing our upright for most cleaning as it does as good or a better job.

The reason for the plastic parts is clear now - it is a weight savings. It really is quite light and easy to use. Cordless is so nice. We use it without the long "stick" attachment a lot on stairs and furniture. So why only 4 stars? Edge cleaning. Do not expect this little gem to clean right up to the baseboards. You will need to switch to the attachment for edges.

But, especially for the price, you really can't beat the V16. If you want to triple or quadruple the cost, I hear the Dyson is awesome, but seeing is I can buy several of these first, I think I'm pretty satisfied.

We needed a replacement for an old Dyson hand vacuum and snagged this on special through the CNN store of all places. Better than the Dyson ever was. Really couldn't be happier, regardless of how I feel about now being old enough to be so excited about a new vacuum that I write a review for it.

Ho ordinato il mio Jashen V16 poco prima di Natale su Amazon,come regalo a mia moglie. Ricevuto dopo pochi giorni con perfetto imballaggio. Utilizzato immediatamente per le pulizie di Natale. Abbiamo un cane a pelo lungo (pastore svizzero) che lascia abbondante pelo. In 40 minuti di utilizzo (durata della batteria) abbiamo pulito benissimo tutta la casa (120 mq). Ora non c'è più traccia del pelo del cane. Ottimo aspirapolvere. sarebbe utile una seconda batteria se lo si vuole utilizzare in spazi più grandi.

It's power and long battery life. The location of the collection container is a bit awkward and makes for harder control of the vacuum. I do like that it will lay flat to get under beds and dressers. The dirt collector also has to be emptied frequently. It comes with great attachments and I like that you can detach a handheld portion to vacuum surfaces. Overall, I rate it a five because it has such good suction and attachments, but would more likely go with 4.5 if that were possible.

I just received my stick vacuum and was trying it out not expecting to get anything as my carpet was previously vacuumed and looked pretty clean. I was so surprised when I saw debris in the canister after just a brief time of vacuuming my floor. I used it on m stairs and delighted how quick and easy I could use it on my stairs vs lugging my larger vacuum up and down. I am certain I will vacuum my stairs more often now that I have a stick vacuum.

So glad to have this, easy to put together and had enough charge to give it a whirl. So tired of the 700 pound Dyson. This will be perfect to follow my grandkids around since they are pigpen from Peanuts. I will post more once I use all the attachments. CNN gave me a great deal and the 'hotline' picked up with my questions after 2 rings. PS she is in the USA

This product was just as expected and what was needed to replace the original cup that I had that broke.

Cleaner head for V16

This is a great vacuum for older people because it’s light. I can even use it with my walker! Great for pet hair, we have a rotty that sheds like crazy. Easy to get under beds and stuff too!

I love my V18. It has great suction and with all of the included attachments, it is very versatile. The engineering that went into its development is superb. The packaging was great and everything was well protected in its box. I am looking forward to having and using it for years to come. I highly recommend it for anyone who is looking for a great cordless model at a very fair price.

My daughter recently bought this Vacuum Cleaner and loved it but unfortunately, the puppy chewed it. I emailed Jashen directly to see how I could get it repaired and they emailed me back immediately to say they would send me a new one. I received the replacement within a week. I couldn't ask for better service and my daughter is absolutely delighted,

I am 76 years old & this vacuum cleaner was easy to put together. It works very well. I recommend this vacuum to anyone.

I really love my Jashen Vacuum! It is great for hardwood floors and carpets. It’s so maneuverable and lightweight.

Battery pack for V18

It’s always an awkward choice… a big enough battery to allow the device to work for a long time… a small enough battery that you can use the handheld device for a long time. Having an easy to swap battery pack and change both on the provided wall-hanger is brilliant! We are very pleased with our original purchase and the addition of this additional battery pack. It works perfectly.
